Spooktacular Day 1 & 2

The event that I've waited an entire year for, has finally arrived.

Sentosa Spooktacular. I only got to know my character on the first day itself. Even then, I was a given a choice between two characters. I must have been lucky to have come early, cause I got to choose that character.

I remembered the more standout happenings on the first two days.

First day, OCTOBER 21st, not much. But the first thing a minority group of people thought when they saw me was that I was a stripper. WTH. Secondly some thought it was cosplay. WTH again.

OK. I remembered me disturbing this Caucasian woman with natural white-blonde hair. I kept somehow appearing in front of her or behind her. The third time was down an escalator, she said "You're scary. I'm gonna have a nightmare because of you." And everytime she sees me, she'll give that *not again* kind of expression. But she kept smiling. Then another time, she said "(points to another ghost) He's friendly. You. You are scary, and I'm gonna have nightmares because of you." Still smiling, she said that. These kind of people make your job worth it. I really hope she didn't actually have nightmares.

Another thing that stood out was a group of young guys, probably 2-4 years younger than me approached me for a photo. The guy who caught my attention was this really good looking guy. His face almost shone in the barely lit ambiance. His face was so flawless. It was almost pure white. Then when he walked to stand beside me for a photo, I could see the side-view of his nose. And damn, it was straight and sharp. Wow really marvelous. First time I saw a guy that flawless looking. Really amazing. Good to know there are guys that possess that kind of look. HOWEVER!!! He was holding on to a tote bag and although not a sure sign that he's a softie, his standing posture was still manly. Heng.....

Second day, OCTOBER 22nd, was more happening so to say. There was a bigger turnout. Way bigger.

I was stationed near Sky Tower this time. More people. More flashes blinding me within minutes.

So there were three really young boys around 6-10 years old in range. I stared at them and that was enough to startle them. Then after awhile, two of them came back and disturbed me. I chased them down all the way to the last flight of escalators. MY FEET WERE KILLING ME! I wasn't wearing anything on my feet, as though the rocks weren't enough, I had to step on the escalator. I was cursing inside. As though that wasn't enough for them. They came back up not long after, but this time there was only two of them. They taunted me a few times, I ignored them because they were just too close to the escalators. It wasn't safe. So they tried sneaking past my blind spot, but apparently I was watching them. Once they were well away from the escalator, I chased them all the way to Sky Tower. They split directions as soon as I gave chase. I chased the older one, the ground was slippery, and he slipped in a really hilarious position. I just stopped chasing him as soon as that happened. I was also about to slip, but lucky he slipped first. Pity lah. Then the Ranger came, "Don't chase him too much". Indirectly, that means "That was sick!!" Hehe...^^

Throughout the night, there will be staff selling Halloween headgear. I kept staring at this Indian & Chinese Female staff, they were selling the headgear. But mostly I just followed and stared the Indian Girl, and she kept asking me to talk to her and blah blah blah. She said, "I must find out who you are. Seriously. You ah...." You know, for me, even the staffs have no exception. I disturbed the Takoyaki guy throughout the 2 days. It's funny how uncomfortable he was.

So there was this group of people near a queue. I realised this guy was kind of hiding behind his buddy. I went to him and BOOM!!! his reaction to it was hilarious. Even I wanted to laugh at that point of time. Those in the queue laughed, his friends laughed. He must have been really embarrassed. Sorry.

I was at Sky Tower area, a group of girls walked passed me. One of them said, "Isn't this Alif? He from SHINee Concert one!" I was like wth? Who are you? I've never seen you before. For a ghost, that was kind of embarassing. ^^ I recognised one of them from the previous year queue management team.

I eyed on this couple in a queue. The girl was obviously scared. I turned to face other guests. Then I heard her say,"This one not scary one lah". That instant, I turned and stared at her. Even her boyfriend felt uncomfortable. ^^ Well done Alif

I love disturbing couples. This year the guys are a bit calmer and less protective. Thank you people. There was a guy who was comforting his girlfriend and he saw me approaching them. He made a gesture behind her to not come. I find that very considerate and respectful.

There was this couple about to go towards the escalator. I moved towards them. All of a sudden, the girl ran. She let go of her boyfriend, turned, ran. I blocked her, and she slipped and fell. That point of time, I snapped out of character and helped her up. See I good boy you know.

At Sky Tower, I was walking pass. Some group called me to take a photo with them. Then my attention was brought to the group right in front of me. I recognised them cause I kept disturbing one of the girls. She was supposedly afraid, but she wasn't anymore. She jokingly asked whether we could switch headgear. I change with her and took a photo. Should have pose like a cutie lorh. Haish...

Last two. In the queue at IOS, there was two groups about a few metres behind each other. The one further in front were people around my age group. There was one guy who acted inappropriately, and I swear I wanted knee his treasures down there. So rude. Haha then some of them said that this girl wanted my number. And the girl who asked for it, came forward and ask me a few questions. Obviously I didn't answer. But she was smart. She said if I was local blink my eyes once. So I blinked once. She asked if I was older than 15 years old blink once. Then I blink. Then all her friends stop her. They stop raking information from him lahhhhhhhh. LOL! I can't help but smile.

As I walk backwards in the queue. There is this group of guys and girls younger than me. In the group everyone was really afraid of me even being close to them. I was at first staring at this girl. She avoided eye contact at all times. Her friends told her to stare back. When she did, I climbed into the queue and went right next to her face and stare. She was definitely afraid loh cover her face like that. The bad thing was, her eyes were teary. I kinda felt bad but hey just doing my job. :) I kept disturbing her since. ^^
